Google Master Training Program Update

Two cohorts recently started. One for New York State Teacher Centers and one for New York State Regional Information Centers.

Participants in both cohorts will complete a rigorous 90-day training program. During this time they: will complete six Google Apps for Education Examinations, create learning objects that showcase the power of Google Apps in the classroom, and attended bi-weekly webinars.

Participants in the Teacher Center's Cohort include:
Mike Amante, Peter Apps, Doug Beers, Linda Brandon, Jennifer Farr, Tricia Interrante, Jane Maningo, Craig Mantin, Margaret McNamara, Diane Miller, Michael Pincus, Brad Posnanski, Mark Sturges, Lisa Watson, Christopher Williams, William Zimmerman

Participants in the Regional Information Center's Cohrort include: Kelley Batrowny, Donald Heberer, Derek LaLonde, John-Henry Lane, Pascale Martel, Dave Mayotte, Albert Pisano, Stacey Ross, Francine Smith, Deborah Stephens, MaryLynn Collins-Callanen, and Accardo Leslie.  

The first Google Master Training Cohort competed their studies in June 2011. Google Apps Deployment Workshop

Representatives from Regional Information Centers  around the state attended a Google Apps Deployment Training Workshop in Albany on September 19th and 20th. The workshop was organized by Jeanne Weber, Director of the Eastern Suffolk BOCES RIC and Stan Silveman Director of Technology Based Learning Systems, NYIT. Eric Edens, Google Engineer, lead participants through deployment simulations. Contact your RIC to see how they can help you setup Google Apps for your school.
